Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz

The hotel was located in a very central location at Potsdamer Platz, with convenient access to the U-Bahn and S-Bahn lines, as well as bus services. The Brandenburg gate was only a 15 min walk away and there is much to see and take in during that walk. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. All of the staff spoke English to an excellent standard which really made us feel at ease as we did not have to worry about a language barrier. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable and had good facilities, including a shower unit, a fridge, iron and ironing board, kettle, drying line and hairdryer. I think that our room could have been a bit cleaner upon arrival, which is the only reason I am not giving my review a 9 or 10/10. The city of Berlin is fantastic and I would stay here again. Excellent location. Next door to the Mendelssohn underground station or very short walking distance to Potsdamer Platz station. The Playce shopping centre is across the road, handy for cafes and the supermarket. Brilliant to have a kettle and fridge in the room. Room had plenty of space and was cleaned when we requested and comfortable. Handy to be able to leave suitcases on final day.

Lovely family friendly hotel. Rooms were modern, well maintained and clean. Great location.

The hotel was very family-friendly. A baby cot was available, and there was a playing corner for kids. In addition, breakfast was amazing. There were a quite wide variety of selections of food. The location was good, too. It is a few minutes walk from the nearest station along a relatively quite street.

Location was excellent, quite central in Berlin and only a few metres from Bartholdy Mendelssohn underground station with great transport links across & beyond the city. The hotel itself is lovely. Staff are SO helpful, kind and efficient. Room was beautiful, with excellent bath/shower room, useful fridge, air con and large picture door opening out onto attractive street view - great for ventilation during the hot summer. Loved the fridge, hairdryer, iron & ironing board in room. Great to be able to drop off luggage earlier than Check-in time, and enjoy the city luggage-less. And the same on departure where they can store your luggage for a few hours while you make the most of your final day in Berlin - so useful. Very Very highly recommend Berlin Scanic Potsdamer Platz- we would DEFINITELY stay here again if we visit Berlin again, and would seek out other "Scandic" hotels elsewhere on our travels.
